I needed a better backpack for my work and gaming laptop, while also carrying tools for my work. This bag didn't break the bank and allows for so much space in a small bag. Hello, I noticed there isn't much info on the Lenovo Recon laptop backpack here. So, here's my initial impression.
I received the backpack today. Some reviews say it fell apart quickly, and the zipper is fragile. Others say it's holding up well with no gripes or concerns. Mine feels pretty well made, and I liked the price and design. It matches the Legion aesthetic spot on.
It's sleek, feels comfortable on my back and shoulders, and easily has enough capacity and pockets for my entire portable gaming setup with all the whistles and bells, such as a pair of over the ear headphones, collapsible laptop stand, power supply, mouse & keyboard, and maybe even a Nintendo Switch including controllers, wires, dock, with pockets to spare for other gizmos.

At first, I was hesitant to buy this bag since I did recognize the brand and especially since it was made in China, but I thought it was worth the money since I needed a new bag for my college classes this semester.
When I first opened the package, I was concerned by how small it looked since it had looked much bigger in the product photos. But I learned that it was folded inward to order to fit inside the packaging and once I saw it out of the bag, I was awestruck by what the bag had in store.
The storage capabilities are light-years ahead of every single bag I have used up to this point from RFID protection slots to multiple slots and pockets inside the bags main areas that fit my gaming mouse, my MSI gaming laptop brick and cord, and my apple ipad with apple pencil. Even after packing all of my essentials for my spring classes, there is still tons of storage space remaining. Some of it's unique features are the integrated USB adapter on the bag that you can connect with a battery pack to charge anything on the go, a long storage compartment on the opposite side of the bag that rests against your back, and the capacity to carry two laptops up to over 18 inches. You can fit clothes, shoes, jackets, and many others in the bag in different places and has straps to slide into your suitcase for flights or long journeys.
Multiple side and drink slots offer storage for your umbrella, water bottle, and some rather useful items like silverware and straw kit I received during orientation.
I can assure you this bag will be the best investment you ever do and for a game design major and gamer such as myself, this is a lifesaver for my college years and hopefully beyond that.
