The only issue with it is, he can only play with these controllers as a portable unit with the switch. He can't use it with the big screen for some odd reason. But they are comfortable to hold and look awesome.

I can actually play Theatrhythm Final Bar Line! My brand new regular Joy-Cons were drifting out of the box, I do not know how Nintendo is still allowed to sell them. These ones have much bigger buttons, they are much bigger and comfortable, however, they are also much lighter. This is a must-buy item!

As an owner of a Nintendo switch, the split pad Pro is a must-have. In multiple variants such as Sonic the Hedgehog, Mega Man, Pac-Man, Pokemon, or just standard plain colors with no design, these feel great in your hands. A great aspect is that they don't have or need batteries like the default or standard joy-cons and Pro Controllers you might have, you can just connect them to your switch and play with them in handheld mode for as long as you want without the need of worrying about recharging the joy-cons themselves. I highly recommend getting yourself this if have a Nintendo switch but haven't got this, it's worth it.
